Congratulations to Rachel & Zach for their Gettysburg, PA wedding at the Beech Springs Farm in Gettysburg, PA! This wedding was a little extra special to me since the bride is one of my best friends’ little sister and I am beyond excited to share some of their photos.
Rachel & Zach’s Gettysburg, PA Wedding
I loved all the DIY aspects of this Gettysburg wedding. Rachel’s dad is a retired florist and worked with his dear friend to create the wedding bouquets, boutonnieres, and gorgeous floral centerpieces. Her mother spent countless hours baking hundreds of cookies for the reception and Rachel’s friends did her makeup and hair. This couple was surrounded by talented people and I am beyond honored they asked me to be their wedding photographer since they had 4 professional friends they could have asked!
Rachel’s officiant made the trip from Maryland to do their nuptials, and despite his concerns upon hitting traffic, made it 15 min. before it was time for the processional to begin. And the day was perfect for their outdoor ceremony and barn reception!
Beech Springs Farm Wedding Photography
A long time coming, Rachel & Zach started dating 13 years ago, and they couldn’t have picked a more perfect day for their summer wedding. Partly cloudy, and not too hot, the only hiccup was Rachel spraining her ankle a month before so I made sure to include plenty of breaks so she could sit & rest whenever possible.
My favorite photo I think is the romantic dip along the gravel road by the barn. Despite knowing each other for over a decade, getting to see the love between these two truly warmed my heart.
