Historic Jasmine Plantation Wedding

Jasmine Plantation Wedding – Providence Forge, VA

Victoria and Jason met while working at a fire station in James City County and it was love at first sight. And according to the best man, Jason literally turned her head! So it was no surprise that Victoria was practically glowing on her wedding day at the Historic Jasmine Plantation.

But what was so great about this wedding is Victoria wanted everyone smiling and having fun with them. She worked hard to combine their personal interests and quirkiness into the wedding, including giving the bridesmaids their favorite books to walk down the aisle, super hero cufflinks for the guys, and using plastic light sabers throughout the reception.

The Star Wars music before she walked down the aisle had everyone laughing, along with an impromptu light saber battle on the dance floor.

This Historic Jasmine Plantation wedding in Providence Forge was the perfect late November fall wedding. Don and the staff have done a great job landscaping the grounds so we didn’t have to go far to find picturesque photo spots with beautiful color. This is one outdoor venue that has taken night portraits into account, and the lit gazebos look gorgeous against the dark sky.

Truly a fun and amazing day. Their cake topper summarized it perfectly, “Mutual Weirdness Forever.”

No post is complete without a quick shout out to the AMAZING professionals that helped make this November wedding so stunning – coordination by Firefly Reflections, Jasmine Plantation wedding staff, and Cake by Twanda.
