As you probably already know, getting along with your photographer is just as important as loving their photos. And maybe even more so.
Photos evoke memories of a moment in time. The sounds, smells, and events before and after the picture was taken are part of that memory, as well as the amazing experience you had with your photographer who took the photos. So if we haven’t had the chance to work together yet, here is a little insight on my wedding experience –
The Wedding Experience
Getting married is one of the biggest days of your life, and I am honored that you are considering me to capture the moments & memories on your special day and I want to do more than the average photographer to make the whole experience even more amazing.
So without giving away all my secrets, I can tell you that I LOVE to hear about you! How you met, the interests you share, why you chose your wedding date and location. Knowing these details also helps me better tell your story so I can be looking for things on the wedding day that tie in and things I can incorporate into your portraits.
I am all about making things EASIER for you! While I prefer to meet at Panera (Starbucks tables are a little small for my album display) I am always willing to drive 30 miles to get closer to you, meet at a venue, or set up a Skype call or regular call, whatever makes it easier for you. I know wedding planning can take a lot of time, even with a wedding planner, and while I need to talk with you so we can have a conversation I am happy to make it happen on your schedule.
And I want nothing more than to HELP you! When we meet I have a cute little guide I give you, even before you book, with a portrait checklist, timeline worksheet, and a few other helpful tips to help things run more smoothly before and the day of the wedding. And starting in 2018, after you book you receive a special welcome gift and I become accessible via personal text whenever you need advice or have a question.
My Guide has more about the day of experience, and what to expect after the wedding too. So if you are interested, please fill out my contact form, check the box for “Tips & Special Offers,” and write in the comments you want the Guide.
Or simply check out my recent wedding stories to see how I combine classic, fun, romantic and lifestyle photography all in 7-10 hours (sometimes with the help of a second photographer 😉
