I finished the photos from this Colonial Heritage wedding weeks ago, but had SO much I wanted to say and so many GREAT photos I wanted to include I didn’t know where to start. Every couple is in love on their wedding day, but with some couples, their love is contagious and affects you – and that was the case with Whitney & Henry.
Their engagement was short, but thanks to Whitney’s mom no one would’ve guessed it. We squeezed in an engagement session at Yorktown Beach aboard Henry’s boat a couple weeks before the wedding day, caught the sunset after a windy (and cold) outdoor ceremony, and the rain passed just in time for their sparkler send-off.
Everything worked out – including the flash mob surprise that both families collaborated on – and I couldn’t be happier for them. I just know this is just the start of a perfect life. Congrats guys on your gorgeous Colonial Heritage wedding and I look forward to photographing your kids someday! 😉
“I received such amazing photos from my wedding & the hardest part was narrowing down which ones I loved the best because there were so many great shots to choose from. Heather Hughes was professional from start to finish & I would highly recommend using her to capture your precious moments!“ – Whitney
No post is complete without a quick shout out to the AMAZING professionals that helped make this Colonial Heritage wedding so stunning – Flower Cupboard, Sara Bailey with makeup, the always amazing Colonial DJs, and Kadi Bakes. #agradelisaffair
